Day 1 

  • Case Selection 
  • Obtaining records and interpreting them- Understanding PAN, Lateral cephalogram, Scan and photos 
  • Establishing diagnosis and Treatment Planning
  • Writing treatment goals 
  • Writing treatment plans in line with the treatment goals 
  • Introduction and application to Invisalign system

Hands On -

  • Diagnosis and treatment planning 
  • How to submit an in Invisalign case 
  • Cephalometric tracing and understanding 
  • Application of the above concepts to Invisalign system

Day 2 

  • Understanding basic biomechanics 

        a. Application of force and tipping of teeth

        b. Understanding drawbridge effect 

        c. Understand cartwheel effect 

  • Introduction to brackets and wires and understand bracket wire interaction 
  • Introduction to bracket placement 
  • Understanding how wires and various force generating components interact
  • Application of the above concepts to Invisalign system

Hands On - 

  • Placement of brackets on models 
  • Placement of wires on models 
  • Use of force generating components such as elastics, open coil springs 
  • Manipulating arch wires.

Day 3

  • How to develop and modify a clincheck 
  • Application of Invisalign system to patients and how to communicate effectively
  • Finishing and detailing in orthodontics
  • Retention

Hands On -

  • Photo-taking process in orthodontic treatment 
  • Scanning Exercise 
  • Modify clincheck and how to do that
